The Multitasker: The Body Shop Honey and Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask

Hi All,

I love products that multitask, and the same goes for #TheBodyShop Honey and Oat 3-in-1 scrub mask. While on our weekly skin care regimen, most of us cleanse, scrub and massage followed by a face mask and all of this takes at least 3 or more products. Today I’ll like to take the time, to introduce a multitasker who does all of these jobs Alone.

Product Description:

Triple the action in half the time, it makes the skin smooth and changes the skin condition from normal to dry with natural kaolin clay, oatmeal and organic Community Trade honey.

Packaging:

It comes in a plastic tub with a screw lid. Though the packaging of #TheBodyShop products are refreshing and tempting but it would be great if they use tubes, as the latter is more hygienic than a tub.

My Take on The Body Shop Honey and Oat 3-in-1 Scrub Mask:

It is very creamy in texture and has an off white color. It has very gentle scrub particles which you can clearly see, it smells equally yummy. Its texture is creamy and soft which spreads like a water on the face.  With no struggle to apply it, a little quantity covers the whole face. I use this once in a week. After cleansing, I put this mask for at least 20 minutes (Note:  it doesn’t dry up), then gently massage my face lightly, let it stay for 5 minutes and rinse it off. Now, here is a little unsettling part, when you apply It would sting a bit, but it’s safe even with the stinging, and it’s totally gone when you are done washing your face. What you are left with, is amazing Soft Skin.
I am using this product for last 2 months and believe me I can clearly notice the difference on my skin as its smoother, supple and glows more than ever before.

Pros:

·         Multitasker
·         A little quantity required, so lasts for long
·         Makes skin super soft and supple
·         Cost efficient

Cons:

           ·         Stinging sensation

Verdict:

Overall it’s a wonderful scrub mask which does everything that it claims, people with dry patchy skin can try this out, and it will surely not disappoint you. As a very small quantity is required for each application, I think will it will really last long, but I have already ordered for the next tub to stock up.

  1. Oats are excellent as a scrub... But i cannot use this as my skin is oily and i prefer water based or gel based scrubs.
