How are you doing, all my lovely ladies?? Today I am not here for a review but came up with some applicable lipstick hacks that can help you get rid of some daily problems you face while applying lipsticks. As you already know that I am a lipstick junkie, I love to wear lipsticks wherever I go out, I face little challenges in my daily life while applying lipsticks. So to avoid all those mess I follow some rules which are very simple and easy for each application.
So let’s get into the rules:
We generally struggle with dry lips showing patchy and flakiness after sometime of applying powder matte and liquid lipsticks. These tend to suck up our lip moisture leaving them extremely dry. To avoid this problem you can use lip exfoliators to gently massage over your lips to remove flakes. If you do not have a lip scrub you can put some lip balm all over into your lips, take some sugar crystals and gently massage with a fingertip for 2 to 3 minutes and make sure not to give much pressure. If you are lazy bum like me you can take a baby toothbrush and brush you lips with light hands. Do this process almost thrice a week I am sure you can get over this problem and as a benefit it will increase the blood circulation to your lips making them plump and fuller.
Tissue (paper) fixes the issue:
Who doesn’t want a long wearing lipstick which doesn’t transfer much and keeps intact into their lips. To avoid transfers and best color payoff you simple need a tissue paper which is easily available at your house, all you have to put the first coat of lip color then holding the tissue paper over your mouth and dusting some translucent powder over it. Hold on, you don’t have a translucent powder? But you have a compact right? Then hold the tissue paper over your mouth and take little compact powder with a sponge and dab it over the tissue paper gently and you are done! Put the last coat of lipstick after that and you are ready! The powder generally helps to lock the lip color making it less transferor.
Love to go n*de:
I love to wear n*de lipsticks a lot for my daily office wear. But the problem is that I have pigmented lips. So not all the n*des gives the proper color payoff that I desire. So to avoid that I always use a little amount of concealer and dab it all over my lips and blend. If you do not wish to use concealer you can use a light foundation which is liquid in base and dab it with ear buds all over your lips and blend perfectly. In this way any N*de shade can be visible what you desire.
Making lipsticks pop:
Love to pop your lipsticks?? Doesn’t matter you don’t have a pop color but still you can achieve a pop lipstick look. All you have to do is first wear your favorite lipstick and take an ear bud in which put a little amount of liquid foundation on the top of the bud and make lines outside of your lips, best if you do this with a concealer with its thin wand! It will make your lips look sharper and pop.
All about highlighting and shading!
Those who are really get irritated with their flat thin lips, here is a method to give your lips little dimension. Wear any lipstick you want to, take a little powder highlighter and dab it slowly on the center of your lips and over your cupid brow, make sure you don’t use much otherwise your lip will look awkward. Take a little amount of contouring powder with a liner brush and brush it below your lower lip line. Trust me it will definitely give dimension to your lips.
