Review on Aroma Essentials Carrot Sunblock with SPF 30

Thank you Aroma Essentials for sending these amazing products from your collection Click Here I am totally in love with these products already and after using the sunblock for past 10 days I really feel like sharing my view on the product. As we all know sunblock is essential for all seasons but is a must have for this summer as it not only help to prevent sunburn but also premature aging and decrease the risk of skin cancer, so we cannot skip a single day going outside without using it!

Ingredients:

Carrot juice, carrot oil, zinc oxide, base is ice-cream thickener glyceryl mono stearate and essential oils are Carrot seed oil, lavender and mint.
I did a small research on the internet and got to know that carrot seed oil is one of the best nature’s oil which contains SPF of 30 to 40 and provides protection from sun damage. Zinc oxide also offers broad spectrum protection against damaging UVA and UVB rays. So it can be said that the product should definitely protect you from sun damage.

But before giving my opinion here is the list of products they are offering J

My Take on the product:

The product comes in a white plastic jar which has a twisted cap on the top. You cannot find the ingredient list within the packaging level but it is clearly mentioned that the product is made with finest natural ingredients, chemical free and artificial fragrance free, dermatologically tested and not tested on animals. As these products are made in small scales and for that reason they all are freshly made and should be useable best before 6 Months. For ingredients I asked Aroma Essentials for the same and they are very kind to provide the detailed list. As we you open the cap, you can feel a strong smell of peppermint which is refreshing but too strong for sensitive noses. The product has a light lemon yellow color with thick consistency, texture wise it is more like cold creams. Though it is thick, it spreads all over your face easily and get absorbs with little effort. It leaves a whitened effect after application; I guess this is for the presence of zinc oxide in the ingredients. So you can skip your bb cream as well if you wish. You can feel a cooling effect in your skin immediately after application which is obviously an added benefit for this summertime. Though the product is creamy consistency but after some hours of application I feel like little drying near my chin area so I mix this sunblock with my moisturizer and apply it. It requires reapplication as per their suggestion when you need long hours protection. I have little sensitivity near nose and chin area but using this product I didn’t feel any irritation and haven’t noticed any breakouts too. In addition it gives me a white glow immediately after application without any greasiness. It gives me little sweating after application. My suggestion to the dry skinned girls is to add a little quantity moisturizer with this sunblock to avoid dryness. I am using this sunblock for past 10 days and applying before going out, trust me the product is working nicely protecting my skin from sun damage as I couldn’t see such tanning on my face without any breakouts.

Pros:

·         Good Ingredients list
·         All natural products
·         Works effectively on sun damage providing high protection from UV rays
·         Gives cooling effect post application
·         Product gets absorbed easily into skin
·         Totally chemical free and artificial fragrance free
·         Not tested in animals
·         Dermatologically tested

Cons:

·         Little bit expensive

Verdict:

Overall I am happy with the product, a good non-greasy cream great in providing high protection against sun damage which absorbs easily into your skin giving it a healthy whitening  and cooling effect, no such breakouts and skin irritations so sensitive skinned girls can also use this product without any hesitation.

Rating:

4.5/5

That’s all for today!
