Review on LUKE Hydrogel Eye Patch from Skin18

Hi Beauties!

Hope you all are doing well. Today I am going to review a product from the package that I received from skin18 recently, LUKE Hydrogel eyepatch. I have been suffering from a bit of puffy eyes for the past two weeks as due to inadequate sleep over excess work. I was really looking horrible in front of mirror because of what felt like a whole decade of sleeplessness. I generally don’t use any eye cream or serum but thought of trying LUKE Hydrogel eyepatches.

So let’s get started

What the product claims:

It helps to reduce eye puffiness and tightening skin under eyes. It is refreshing and provides
moisturization.

How to Apply:

·         After cleansing, dry with a towel
·         Peel off the patch from the plastic liner and apply onto the desired area, it is helpful to apply eye cream or essence before.
·         Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes and remove the patch
·         After removing it, no rinsing is necessary

Price:

$1.40(USD) for 1 patch. You can get it from Click Here

Ingredients:

The patches contains of mugwort and green tea which helps to moisturize your skin. Vitamin A, C and E which provides nutrition to your skin and lastly Hydrogel which is having excellent moisturizing function.

My take on the product:

It comes in a light purple sachet packaging which is very easy to tear off and is travel friendly too. While opening the sachet you can be able to see two patches which exactly look like blotting paper in shape of eye bags. The patches have some really mild fragrance which is very refreshing. You have to peel off the patches from plastic thin liner with which the patches adhere. The patches have two sides and the sticky side needs to apply below your eyes. Make sure targeted area must be dry before applying the patches. I left the patches for 20 minutes and removed it. I felt a cooling effect near my eye area after application, I didn’t rinse off as they suggested. I could see my under eye area plumped-up a little and fresh. I didn’t have much puffiness but I could see an improved condition near my eye area. I was not at all looking sleepy as I was looking before and looked a little bit fresh and moisturized under eye area. I wish I had more eye patches in stock with me. I am really looking forward to try more of these.

Pros:

·         Colorful fun sachet packaging which is travel friendly
·         Light refreshing fragrance
·         Makes under eye area hydrated for some time
·         Removes eye puffiness
·         Makes under eye area lively and fresh
·         Budget friendly

Cons:

Nothing as such

Verdict:

Overall this is a decent eyepatch which works effectively on eye puffiness (though I didn't have much puffiness) and also makes skin hydrated and moisturized. I can feel my tired under eye area much lively and fresh after applying the patches. I would really want to try more of these patches to check the full effectiveness.
