Natural Bath and Body French Red Clay masque Review

Hi friends,

How are you doing all my lovely friends? Today I am here to review a facial mask from Natural Bath and Body. I generally try to avoid clay masks as it makes my skin very dry and which causes more rashes on sensitive skin areas. But this is the only clay mask which I can trust fully and can be used anytime, without a doubt. This is my second tub and I have already stocked 2 more for later use since my mom is also becoming addicted to this product.

Now straight to the review

What the product claims:

Like the special clay masks that were a favourite with the Egyptian goddess Cleopatra, our French Red Clay mask never fails to soften your skin, preserve its complexion and impart a natural glow. It is a gentle paste of French Red Clay, which is an absolute powerhouse of iron and other minerals! Best suited for normal to oily skin types, it cleanses, detoxifies and exfoliates the skin, leaving it highly refreshed and toned. The clay is blended with Rose oil, virgin Coconut oil and the balancing Cedar wood essential oils. As the oils further nourish the skin, Turmeric powder and Sandalwood give it a distinctive radiance.

Ingredients:

Purified Water, Kaolin, Fullers Earth,Propanediol, Organic Vegatable Glycerine, Isopropyl Myristate, Virgin Coconut Oil, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Talcum Powder, Gum Acacia, Heptyl Undecylenate, Zinc Oxide, Red Clay, Glyceryl Caprylate & Glyceryl Undecylenate, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate,Gramflour, Turmeric Powder, White Sandalwood Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Carrot Seed Oil, Beet root Powder, Sodium Gluconate.Rose oil,Cedarwood Oil.

My take on the product:

The product comes in a hardy plastic tub packaging which is sleek in design and handy too. Clay mask is brownish red in color which is having a semi thick consistency water based formula. You can add rose water or you can use this mask directly, I prefer to use this directly as I feel it has the perfect consistency of a facial mask and you can apply evenly all over your face with very less effort. It has a soothing floral fragrance which is refreshing. It feels really light on my skin and since it is a clay based mask, dries up very quickly. I leave it for 10 to 15 minutes to become the pack tighten and then rinse off with normal water. As of now whatever clay masks I have tried, I ended up with more red rashes with dehydrated skin, but this is the only clay mask which soothes my rashes leaving skin hydrated. I never feel any itchiness during application or post application, my sensitive nose and chin area never feels any tingling effect after the use. It effectively cleans out dirt, impurities and gives a natural glow which remains for long and doesn’t leave skin dry. It performs very well reducing acnes and at being gentle, doesn’t give any itchiness to acnes or rashes after applications. I would highly recommend this mask to oily and combination skinned beauties as it removes excess oil, pulls out the dirt and helps to reduce the redness and acnes.

Pros:

·         Contains no parabens or any harsh chemicals
·         Perfect consistency for a face mask
·         Nice soothing floral fragrance
·         Doesn’t make skin dehydrated
·         Soothes skin rashes
·         Helps to reduce acnes
·         Removes excess oil, dirt and impurities leaving a healthy glow
·         Causes no irritations on rashes or acnes( tried and tested on my own skin as I have sensitive area near nose and chin)

Cons:

Inspite of being a clay mask, it doesn’t leave skin dry. My skin becomes combination in hot humid weather with oily T-zone and dry cheeks but I never feel any such dryness after using this mask over that dry areas, So A Big ‘NO’ in this section. For tub packaging I always scoop out a generous amount with a spatula whenever I use it. So no questions of hygiene issue!

Verdict:

Overall A big thumps up for this product, it satisfied all my needs, which cleans my skin very well, soothes my rashes with reducing acnes and leaving a healthy glow on my skin and yes no dehydrating skin! So I highly recommend this mask to all oily and combination skinned beauties to give it a try and let me know your experience about it.

Rating:

5/5(couldn’t deduct any marks because it is really a star product in my opinion)

That’s all for today darlings!
