Review on Eyova Hair Nutrient with Egg Oil

Hi Friends,

Hope you all are doing well. Today I am going to review a hair oil which I have been using for past few weeks. We all know about the health benefits of eggs which is a natural power house of nutrients. So when I heard about oil which contains components of egg yolk, I was really very curious to try out this when it was sent by the brand.

So let’s start with the review now

What the product claims:

Eyova is a hair nutrient with Egg oil as its active component. This oil is derived from the yolk of chicken eggs and containsbioactives that heal and strengthen your hair naturally. Meant to sustain new life, eggs contain nutrients like Long Chain Polyunsaturated essential Fatty Acids (LC-PUFA), Cholesterol, Antioxidants Xanthophylls including Lutein & Zeaxanthin and Immunoglobullins; these work in collaboration to enhance the health of your hair. It claims to prevent premature hair loss, hair greying. It repairs hair damage, reduces dandruff and improves scalp condition. It improves hair shine and luster.

My take on the Product:

The product comes in a plastic transparent bottle with black flip cap on the top and further covered with cardboard box outside which contains all the information about the product. Packaging is quite handy due to the flip cap which is very tight making it convenient. Oil is dark mustard color and has tiny little white particles inside it and you should have to shake the bottle well before you use. It has a strong eggy smell which lingers on my hair for atleast 1 or 2 days which I don’t really like even after washing my hair with shampoo. This hair oil is not very runny, you have to massage hair scalp gently with the hair oil and leave it overnight for best results and you wash your hair on the next day morning. I do not prefer to leave my hair oil overnight because on the next day I always had to work hard to wash my hair with shampoo as it takes a lot of shampoo to wash off the oil completely from my hair. But this time I was willing to take out the best result from this oil so I did as per their suggestion.  Needless to say it made my hair noticeably soft and smooth and as you know about my treated damaged hair which is very rough in the length portion, I can feel the roughness has totally gone from my hair length. It definitely controls my hair fizziness making it more manageable.  Now coming to the most important part, I was really suffering from hair loss along with rough and damage hair, on the very first application I haven’t noticed anything good about this and it continues to fall during washing time with shampoo but after 3 to 4 application of this hair oil I could see less hair fall during washing course and even after detangling and combing my hair I could see very less hair fall. So I can say it has reduced my hair fall problem to some extend and noticeably it made my hair shiny and soft looking and yes controlled the fizziness making it manageable. I couldn’t say anything about grey hair problem as I don’t have that.

Pros:

·         Handy convenient packaging
·         Not very thick in nature
·         Effective on hair fall
·         Makes hair very soft and smooth
·         Controls fizziness making it manageable
·         Adds instant shine post usage
·         Good ingredients

Cons:

·         Pricy
·         Very strong smell which can bother sensitive noses

Verdict:

Overall this is really good hair oil which can reduces hair fall to some extent and can noticeably make your hair soft and smooth, controls fizziness and makes your hair manageable. So I would definitely recommend this to all my friends if you want to keep your hair issue away giving a healthy and shiny hair inside and out.

  1. Wow, if it makes hair soft and reduces hairfall I would get one but I cannot bear egg smell even while preparing an omelette :'(

  2. You can try using Lemon infused water to get rid of the smell. It's worth a try if you would like to continue using it.
