Review on Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack

Hi Lovely Ladies!

How are you all doing my beauties? Wishing you all a Happy Independence day! J Hope you guys are enjoying this long weekend. Well I decided to sit back and take some rest during this time which I was wanting for so long (due to my busy office schedule), So I am taking long naps, reading some of my favorite books which was in my bucket list and at the same time taking extra care of my skin to keep it healthy and happy! J Now coming to the review part, today I am here to talk about a sleeping pack from Innisfree which I have been using for last two months. This is the first sleeping pack I am trying and I have been eyeing this product for long time.

Now let’s start with the review.

What the product says:

A sleeping pack containing organic Jeju fresh green tea to keep your skin moisturized and clear while sleeping!

Get more moisture and freshness with organic Jeju green tea and green tea seeds.

1. Dual Moisture-Rising Technology™ derived from organic green tea and green tea seed oil

Green tea extracted from fresh green tea leaves harvested on Jeju Island is rich in amino acids and minerals that help keep the skin moisturized. Seed oil preserves moisture under the skin for an extended period to prevent drying.

2. Natural green tea antioxidants

The nutrition capsules, filled with natural ingredients, provide antioxidants to your skin and quickly brighten skin tone.

How to use:

For the final step of your night skincare routine, apply the product all over your face, avoiding your eyes and mouth. While applying, gently massage the product into your face so that it is absorbed by the skin. Enjoy a good night's sleep and use warm water to wash your face off in the morning.

Price:

1150(INR) for 80ml pack

My Take on the product:

The product comes in a green plastic glossy tub packaging which has a round big neck with twisted rounded cap on the top. I am totally in love with Innisfree’s simple, neat packaging, though they are made of plastic, they are very sturdy, sleek and classy too. The tub is further covered with recycled paper box which contains the details about the product including price and ingredients. There is a very thin transparent plastic layer which keeps the product secured from inside.  Now coming to the consistency, it has a gel based thick texture which feels very light weight when you apply it on your skin. If we look closely we can clearly see some tiny white beads are mixed with the gel based creamy texture which are not harsh to your skin at all. It has a very refreshing and soothing aroma which I liked a lot, an aroma that I am addicted to. I use this sleeping pack thrice in a week and take a required quantity to massage all over my face and neck. The white tiny beads melt into my skin while light massaging and leaves my skin smooth. The next morning I can see my skin is fresh and supple with softer looking.  I wash my face in the next morning with a face wash. It keeps my skin nourished and hydrated for day long. The best part is that, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive nose and chin area and I couldn’t see any redness or itchiness over that area. Though it is light weighted, you can feel little stickiness or greasiness on the next morning and you could feel of washing your face with a face wash to remove that greasiness but yes it works overnight to remove all the dry patches from your skin making it healthy and glowy. I think for that reason this sleeping pack is perfect for winter season because it can completely protect our skin from any kind of dryness or roughness and give the pure protection over the night absorbing the whole product into the skin making it soft and smooth. I generally use it twice or thrice in a week as I have dry to normal skin.  I couldn’t notice any brightening effect after using this product for past two months though it makes my skin glowy and smooth.

Pros:

·         Nice green tub packaging with recycled paper box which is sturdy and classy
·         Light weighted gel based pack
·         Refreshing aroma
·         Makes skin smooth and supple
·         Keeps skin hydrated for day long
·         Removes skin patches or dryness
·         Doesn’t cause any break outs
·         Doesn’t irritate sensitive skin area
·         Perfect for dry skin and winter season

Cons:

·         Couldn’t notice any brightening effect

Rating:

4/5

Verdict:

Overall it’s a nice sleeping pack with refreshing aroma of green tea, light weighted in texture gel based formula melts and absorbs into skin very easily with very less effort and making skin soft and supple without irritating sensitive skin areas and keeping skin hydrated for day long. People with dry  to normal skin can try this sleeping pack to get a healthy looking glowy skin removing all dry patches without any breakouts.

That’s all for today darlings!
