New Launch : L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Exclusive Pinks and mini review

Hello ladies,

How are you doing my dearies? I am really very excited to share a new launch from L’Oreal Paris Color Riche, yaay!!! This weekend I rushed to a nearby shopper’s stop to take a look at the new exclusive pink lipsticks from L’Oreal Paris. There are seven beautiful pink shades from the range and they are tailored for every woman!! Yippieee
Seven different shades are:
eva's
jLo's
Liya's
Naomi's
Doutzen's
Blake's
Aishwarya's
I got the Liya’s which is also known as ‘Delicate Rose’

What L’Oreal Says about this range:
Dress your lips with delicate shades of pink. Our most sophisticated pink lipsticks in a velvet matte finish. Our Velvet Pink lipsticks have never been more sophisticated.
Pure pink pearls mixed with velvet pigments create a perfectly sheer powdery matte finish.
Precisely composed by our color designer Eva Yean, each shade was inspired by one our beautiful spokesmodels, to offer a subtle and delicate match for every woman.

Price:
995(INR)

Pigmentation:
Color payoff is good. I found the Liya’s and jLo’s to be most pigmented.

My take on the product:
It comes in black, very sleek, sturdy packaging and a inner golden cylinder which holds the lipstick bullet.  There is no color coded bar in the lipstick tube but the actual shade is mentioned in the bottom of the tube. The lipstick is signed by the shade Ambassador. I found the texture to be more creamy and smoother than the pure reds range, with decent pigmentation. It glides easily without any hassle and doesn’t dry out my lips at all.I found the lipstick coverage is little sheer, as we need multiple layering to achieve a full finish. I have to check for the staying power, I will update that in some time. I found the light shades are not capable enough to hide pigmented lips as this gives sheer finish.

Pros:
·         Sleek sturdy packaging.
·         Smooth texture
·         Decently pigmented
·         Beautiful shades , tailored for every woman
·         Light weighted
·         Staying Power(Will Update)

Cons:
·         Need multiple layering to achieve opaque full finish
Light shades are not capable enough to hide pigmented lips.

Verdict:
Overall I am happy to have this beautiful pink shade in my collection. There are a variety of pink shades with super creamy texture and good color payoff which offer delicate match for every woman.
Give them a try and let me know your findings

Review on L'oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Limited Edition Swarovski Lipstick

Hi lovely ladies,

Hope you all are doing very well. Today I will be sharing my experience on one of my favorite lipsticks from L’oreal Swarovski Collection in shade ‘Blaze of Red’. This is a lovely cool toned red shade which is capable enough to give you a perfect red pout!. I love my reds a lot and this is what I adore.

So let’s start with the review now:

What the product claims:

Adding a luxurious touch to the fabulous color payoff is the jewel plug on the packaging that matches the individual color shades.
·         The lipstick has an iconic new bullet that has a tear drop point for precise glide.
·         The beautiful side curve follows the natural curvature of the lips perfectly and delivers the truest color payoff.

Price:
1099(INR) you can get it from here

Pigmentation:
It gives intense color payoff. With a single swipe it can give an opaque finish.

Staying Power:
It stays for at least 6 to 7 hours which is really good.

My Take on the product:

It comes in a sturdy rose gold lipstick tube packaging. The original Swarovski crystals are studded on the glossy tube which gives it a royal look. It is the best in its class, in packaging, I must say! There is a color coded button similar as the color riche lipsticks. It is then secured by a black colored velvet box followed by a paper box. It is very smooth, creamy in texture, glides on your lips very easily without any tugging. It is light weighted and doesn’t feel heavy on lips. It is highly pigmented and with a single swipe it gives the opaque finish which easily conceals the pigmented lips. It doesn’t make the lips feel dry after application. It never sucks out moisture from lips and gives a soft matte finish look. It stays on my lips for 6 to 7 hours, survives light meals, drinks and heavy meals with little fading. This shade is a beautiful cool toned red with slight hint of pink, may be little loud for fair skin but great for medium skin toned beauties.

Pros:
·         Great sturdy classic packaging with Swarovski crystals studded on the lipstick tube.
·         Smooth creamy texture
·         Never feel heavy on lips
·         Doesn’t make lips feel dry
·         Suitable for wide range of skin tones
·         Highly pigmented
·         Good staying power

Cons:
·         Expensive

Verdict:

Overall I am impressed with this lipstick and its classic royal packaging. It is intensely pigmented, has a great staying power with smooth texture and capable of concealing pigmented lips.

Don't forget to share your thoughts if you already have tried this beauty.

Review on theBalm Meet Matt(e) Nude Eyeshadow Palette

Hello lovelies!!!

How are you all are doing? Today I will be reviewing a neutral eyeshadow palette from theBalm and that is Meet Matt(e) Nude Palette. As I am not very comfortable with heavy eye shadows and dark eye makeup, I always prefer neutral palettes which are very easy to work with. My friends who are very much into nude- neutral eye makeups, are surely going to love it.

Let’s start with the review.

theBalm Says:

You’ve met Matt(e), now it’s time to Meet Matt(e) Nude…nude eyeshadows that is. Because size matt(e)rs, there are nine larger Matt(e)s showing their true colors in nude hues. As a matt(e)r of fact, this palette is versatile enough to wear day and night, as liners and as all-over colors…the whole 9 yards! With so many guys to choose from, you’re sure to find your perfect shade, no matt(e)r what!

Price:

$42.00 . I got it for 94(AED) from Dubai

9 different shades with names:

Matt Johnson - dark grey
Matt Garcia - medium brown with a slight red undertone
Matt Malloy - white
Matt Rosen - warm medium brown
Matt Wood - cool dark brown
Matt Singh - light peachy pink nude
Matt Abdul - medium greyish taupe
Matt Lombardi - light warm beige
Matt Hung - medium taupe with a purple undertone

My take on theBalm Meet Matt(e) Nude Eyeshadow palette:

The product comes in a sturdy cardboard paper packaging with magnetic closure. It contains 9 different super-sized eye shadow pans in a variety of neutral colors and each eye shadow named after a guy with a large mirror inside . There is an external cardboard sleeve outside the palette and the blue eyed Matt smiling on the cover. Overall the packaging is very sleek, compact but one of the eye shadow pan broke completely during travelling, My bad!!!. The palette has nice color variations with cool to warm tones, which is pretty basic and easy to go for, in everyday wear. The texture is decently smooth, creamy with minimum fall out and is easy to blend. These eye shadows are much pigmented, mostly the dark shades but for darker complexions it need multiple layering for some light shades. I would suggest a primer or a base to be put underneath for better color payoff. I couldn’t find any chalkiness or dryness and the fall out is also very less. Wear time is decent, without a primer it can goes up to 4 to 5 hours on my oily lids and after that it begins to fade.

Pros:

·         Silky, cream smooth texture

·         Sturdy sleek  fun packaging with large mirror

·         Variety of neutrals with cool to warm tones

·         Good pigmentation

·         Decent staying power

·         Minimal fall out

·         No dryness or chalkiness

·         Comes in generous size which makes it last long

Cons:

·         I couldn’t find any

Verdict:

Overall I liked the eyeshadow palette, it is very sturdy sleek packaging with a large mirror inside which makes it very convenient to use. It has a large variety of neutral shades with good pigmentation and minimal fall out and a pretty good staying power. If you are looking for some great matte neutrals than this palette is the perfect choice.

New Launch from Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Gradation

Hi Lovely ladies,

This morning I rushed to my nearby Shopper’s Stop to take a glimpse of new launched Maybelline Color Sensation Lip Gradation range of lip colors. There are 8 vibrant beautiful lip colors in this range and they are matte in texture.

The names of 8 different shades are:
Red1, Red2, Pink1, Pink2, Orange1, Coral2, Fuchsia1, Mauve1

Price:
500(INR)

I like all the shades as they are very beautiful vibrant fun colors and highly pigmented. These are double sided lip product with vibrant color in one end and a cushion blender tool at the other end. These come in twisted crayons like packaging and the lip colors are very capable to brighten up your face. While applying I felt that these lippies are very smooth in texture with extreme matte but non-drying formula, that is what I liked the most! I thought of getting the Mauve1 as this is pretty uncommon from the rest. I will be doing a full review on this once I start using it. These are the shades in a glimpse.

That’s all for today ladies!!

Review on The Body Shop Moisture White Shiso UV Protection Cream SPF 30 PA+++

Hello Beauties!!

Today I am going to review the Body Shop moisture white Shiso UV protection cream SPF 30PA +++, ohhhh that’s a huge name. I tried their Vitamin C daily moisturizer with spf and I liked it a lot. I recently finished it and instead of getting a replacement got this Shiso. I have been using this product daily for last 2 weeks and thought of sharing my experience with you guys.

So let’s start with the review.

What the product claims:
An easily-absorbed, oil-free cream with SPF 30 and PA +++, to help protect the skin against both UVA and UVB rays and the formation of dark spots and skin discolouration.

Price:
2495(INR)

Ingredients:
Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Sunscreen), Ethylhexyl Salicylate (Fragrance Ingredient), Octocrylene (Sunscreen), Isododecane (Solvent), Hydrogenated Polydecene (Skin Conditioning Agent), Glycerin (Humectant), Arachidyl Alcohol (Emulsion Stabiliser), Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Sunscreen), Butylene Glycol (Humectant), Glyceryl Stearate (Emulsifier), Polymethylsilsesquioxane (Opacifying Agent), Behenyl Alcohol (Emollient), PEG-100 Stearate (Surfactant), Caprylyl Glycol (Skin Conditioning Agent), Arachidyl Glucoside (Surfactant/Emulsifying Agent), Ethylhexyl Glycerin (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Acrylamide/Ammonium Acrylate Copolymer (Binder), Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Antioxidant), Perilla Ocymoides Seed Oil (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Xanthan Gum (Viscosity Modifier), Parfum (Fragrance), Dimethicone (Skin Conditioning Agent), Polyisobutene (Binder), Glyceryl Caprylate (Skin Conditioning Agent), Phenylpropanol (Solvent), Phytic Acid (Chelating Agent), Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (Skin Conditioning Agent), Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract (Conditioning Agent, Humectant), Polysorbate 20 (Emulsifier), Sorbitan Isostearate (Emulsifier), Butylphenyl Methylpropional (Fragrance Ingredient), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Skin Conditioning Agent), Citronellol (Fragrance Ingredient), Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde (Fragrance Ingredient), Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient).

My take on the product:
The product comes in white tube packaging which is very sturdy, soft, squeezable and convenient for everyday use. The cream is very light weight in texture, non-oily but not creamy, after applying the cream you will never feel any oiliness or greasiness on your hands. It gives a matte finish after application. The Vitamin c one gave me a shiny look, which I liked more as I have a dry and little dull skin. Initially you may feel there is some white cast while applying, but for that you have to put little effort with your finger and it will get absorbed and disappear completely leaving your face with a matte finish look. The good thing is that it will never leave your skin dry, so dry skin people can also use this. It has a mild fragrance which is not going to bother even sensitive noses, cool right!! I am using this moisturiser daily followed by my bb cream. Though it doesn’t give my skin any kind of shine, but this is gradually evens out my skin tone near the chin area. I can also feel my skin soft and supple with a radiant look. According to their ingredients list, the main ingredient -Shiso is a Japanese herb which helps to reduce the production of early melanin before it triggers, so it should work for pigmented skin too. I do not have pigmentation but little skin discoloration near my chin area, and I can see little improvement there. It does have the UV ray protection along with the SPF 30; therefore it prevents daily sun burn and tanning. I am using this moisturizer daily before 30minutes of sun exposure. I don’t feel any breakouts after using this.

Pros:
·         Packaging is very sturdy and handy to use
·         It does not feel heavy in skin
·         It is suitable for all skin types as it is totally non-oily
·         Mild fragrance
·         Great ingredients
·         Prevents sun burn and tanning
·         It does not make your skin feel dry or patchy
·         Works on pigmentation and skin discoloration

Cons:
·         Little difficult to deal with the white cast after applying, so really need effort to spread over the skin
·         Pricy

Verdict:
Overall I liked the product, great for daily use as it protects from sun tan and skin discoloration. I would recommend this more to the oily skin people as it gives a nice matte effect preventing oil secretion mainly from t-zone area. I have little skin discoloration near my chin area as I said and this moisturizer is working slowly to reduce that thing, so hoping to get a good result there. I can’t say this is a must have product but if you really want a luxury moisturizer which work on your uneven skin tone and fights with tanning process than you can definitely grab this beauty.

Benefits :
This Madhulika Lep Facial Masque is packed with potent herbs and cold pressed organic oils. Enriched with organic raw Honey this masque deeply cleanses, tones and gives an instant glow to the skin.

Ingredients:
Organic honey, Organic Peel, Raw Cane Sugar, Fresh orange Juice, Sandalwood Nagkesar, Almond oil, Mulethi, Vetivar, Sweet Orange Juice, Anantmool, Cold pressed almond oil, Sweet orange oil.

Price:

My Take on the Product:
The product comes in a transparent glass jar which contains a golden screw cap at the top. The packaging is very sturdy, little heavy to handle but looks very classy. The product mostly contains honey and orange, that is basically natural honey, which is slightly brownish in color and is little thick in consistency. The product is very smooth and easy to apply into skin and has a peeling effect, mostly like the peel masks, as it contains orange. It has a typical orange citrus smell with little hint of fresh honey fragrance. As I have dry skin and it tends to get drier in the winters, my skin lacks hydration and moisture, this facial mask helped me maintain my skin, keeping it soft, smooth and hydrated throughout the day. Honey is super amazing for nourishment of dry skin and orange extracts work on anti-tanning and sun burn. I use this mask twice a week. After cleansing my face I apply this mask evenly on my entire face and keep it for 15 to 20 minutes. This mask does not dry completely so after 15 to 20 minutes I wash it off. After washing my face I can feel my face soft and nourished and I can clearly see an instant glow which remains for the entire day. It rejuvenates dull and dried skin and makes it moisturized and glowy. It can lighten up your skin from daily tanning and adds a beautiful glow which can be clearly visible. This mask is basically a blessing in winter season as it truly nourishes your skin keeping it soft and supple. It also works a little on pigmentation, which is an added benefit. I am loving this face mask day by day and I can’t think without this one specially in winters.

Pros:
  • ·         Classy sturdy packaging
  • ·         Smooth texture
  • ·         Sweet orange citrusy fragrance
  • ·         Keeps skin soft and smooth
  • ·         Keeps skin hydrated and moisturized throughout the day
  • ·         Works on daily sun burn and anti-tanning
  • ·         Lighten up skin from pigmentation which is an added benefit
  • ·         Gives Instant glow

Cons:
  • ·         Little pricy but you are getting so many benefits in a single product

Verdict:
Overall It is a great facial mask for normal to dry skin people, and it's a blessing in the winters when there is lack of hydration and moisture for our skin, which makes it dull and dry. This works on each of these problems and makes the skin soft with no signs of dryness. It keeps skin very hydrated all day long adding an instant glow which remains for long. It also works on anti-tanning, pigmentation and it lightens up the skin slightly.

So thumps up for this product!!!!

Review on Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment

Hi beautiful ladies!!!

Wish you and your family a very happy New Year !!! Hope you all are doing very well. Today I am going to review a hair care product from Kama Ayurveda, ‘Bringadi Intensive Hair Treatment’. It has become my weekly hair care regimen as I have had my hair treated and straightened 5 times which means my hair need serious attention during this winter. My dry hair tends to get more dry during this time and I suffer from dandruff, hair fall, split ends and much more. So thought of giving this product a try and I am really thankful to Kama Ayurveda expert for suggesting me this wonderful product.

So let’s start with the review.

What the product claims:

This product is meant to prevent hair loss, dandruff and premature greying. It is also a natural conditioner for lush hair growth. In addition, it also cools the head. Intensive Hair Treatment, the secret of Indians' lush, glossy hair, is a blend of herbs processed in pure sesame oil and milk. The herbal formula includes indigo (neeli), Eclipta Alba and gooseberry to promote hair growth; liquorices which acts as an anti-fungal agent; and balloon vine which prevents scalp infection.

Benefits :

• 100% natural
• Prevent hair loss
• Prevents dandruff
• Natural conditioner
• Promotes hair growth
• Anti-fungal
• Cooling agent
• Prevents scalp infection

Ingredients:

Indigofera Tinctoria linn, Cardiopermum Halicacabum linn, Eclipta Alba, Phyllanthus Emblica, Sesamum Indicum Oil, Cocasnucifera Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra, Rosmarinus Officinalis Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil.

Price:

515(INR) for 100ml

My Take on the Product:

The product comes in a plastic bottle which is very light weighted with a screw cap on the top. It has two holes, one small and one big on the inside to get a perfect quantity of oil that is needed for application, avoiding any wastage. I find the packaging very sleek and light which can be carried very easily or be kept anywhere. The oil is very light weighted; you can’t feel any greasiness or stickiness in your hands while you apply it on your hair. It is almost black in color with strong ayurvedic fragrance which can bother sensitive noses. I massage the oil for 10 to 15minutes covering my entire scalp first and then apply the remaining on my hair length. According to Kama Ayurveda this treatment act as a natural conditioner, so after massaging I leave it for 20minutes and wash my hair with kama Ayurveda Lavender patchouli shampoo. I use this oil twice a week and trust me it helped in reducing dandruff a lot and also prevented hair fall to some extent. I suffered a lot with dandruffs in this winter season as my scalp tends to get very dry and this worked wonders in reducing dandruffs. As I have treated hair, my hair tends to be very rough on the length portion, by using this oil I can feel my hair soft and smooth and that is definitely an added benefit. I am totally satisfied with this oil and will continue to use forever.

Pros:
·         Very light weighted oil
·         Non greasy
·         Non sticky
·         Helps to reduce dandruff
·         Helps to prevent hair fall
·         Act as natural conditioner
·         Great ingredients list

Cons:
·         Couldn’t find any

Verdict:
Overall this is an wonderful oil, very light non greasy and non-sticky and helps in reducing hair fall. It has done a wonderful job in reducing my dandruff. It claims to reduce grey hair, since I don’t have any grey hair so I can’t comment on that. I will definitely repurchase this oil once I finish my first bottle.
Thumps up to this oil!!!!
