Inglot Liquid Eyeliner in shade ‘30’, Review, Swatch, EOTD

Hi ladies,

Hope you are doing very well. Today I am going to talk about a liquid eyeliner from Inglot in shade ‘30’. Inglot is very new to me but I have already become a fan of their matte range lipsticks and want to explore more of them. They really have some wide variety of shades in liquid eyeliners too and among them I have chosen this blue one which I liked the most.

So let’s see how it is.

What the product says:
High intensity pigments and an ultra-fine applicator guarantees high precision and solid color with this quick drying liquid liner that doesn’t smudge.

Price:
950(INR) for 4ml

My Take on the product:
The eyeliner comes in black sleek plastic packaging which is sturdy and easy enough to be kept anywhere. It has a very long thin applicator brush which is also the cap of the eyeliner. I like the applicator as it makes each application very easy. You can make very smooth thin-winged line with it. The shade number is mentioned in the bottom of the plastic black package. It would have better if Inglot had included shade name along with the number, then it would have been easy to pick up a shade of your choice and moreover it would be more interesting rather than only having a shade number. The liquid is little runny in nature but I think it is the perfect texture to have the desired fine thin line. The eyeliner is intensely pigmented, just needed a single swipe and you can get the dark pigmented perfect thin line. I always shake the bottle before applying it which is suggested by the Inglot expert. Though it is watery, it only takes some seconds to dry, giving a matte finish look. It will then remain intact for long hours and doesn’t smudge at all. This shade is a beautiful navy blue color which glides very easily and I am really in love with this liner. It is not completely waterproof as I have noticed while removing, but you will need a makeup remover to completely wash it off. Staying power is great; It almost stayed day long for me.

Pros:
·         Very smooth application
·         Perfect watery formula to achieve thin desired line
·         Long sleek applicator with thin brush for smooth application
·         Free from parabens
·         Pretty navy blue shade all day and night time look
·         Stays for day long
·         Doesn’t smudge

Cons:
·         Expensive

Verdict:
Overall I am really happy to have this liner, as it is highly pigmented, has a great staying power with easy smooth application. Those who love blue eyeliners, they will be delighted to have this shade as this is pretty gorgeous which is good for day and great specially in nighttime. I will definitely repurchase it but want to try other shades too.

That’s all for today my darlings

My first empty post

Hi lovelies,

How you all are doing my beautiful ladies. Today I am here to share my first empty post with you guys. Being a beauty junkie, I always love to do experiment with different beauty products and for this reason most of the time I end up buying new products even before finishing half of the old ones, I know this is not a good practice but can’t really help, it’s the instinct that always insist me to do that. I know all my beauties will agree that we all are almost same to this particular point ???:-P . Now back to the topic, I am really happy that I have managed to finish some of the products this time and let’s see what are those…

Fabindia Avocado body butter:

This is one of my favorite body butters; this is really light weighted but quite hydrating. I love its texture, very creamy smooth, non-greasy and non-sticky. It glides like butter on my skin and is absorbed very easily. It has a mild fragrance which I like the most about it. Fragrance stays for almost 2 to 3 hours but keeps my skin moisturized for day long. A great affordable body butter for dry skinned like me. I might be stocking up it again whenever I will visit fabindia.

Fabindia body spray passion flower:

Oh I love its floral fragrance, so refreshing and rejuvenating. The rosy scent stays for so many hours. Again a value for money product, and I really want to keep a backup of it. Fabindia stocks a wide range of affordable body sprays and next time I will be getting other variants along with this passion flower.

The Body Shop Vitamin E gentle facial wash:

I have been using this face wash for quite a long time and I am really very impressed with it. As you know I have a dry skin and it works pretty good on dry skin people like me. It never makes my skin dry even in the winters. It is really very creamy in texture, does not lathers much but cleans skin’s impurities and dirt very well. A little quantity is required for each application so a 100ml tube can really last long.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night cream:

Another great product from TBS Vitamin E range. Blessings for dry skinned people in the winters. Texture is little greasy and heavy. I love the formula as it is very smooth and absorbed into my skin easily. It moisturizes my skin very well that lasts long up to the next morning. I can wake up with smooth, soft skin without any dryness. Though it is heavy in nature, it never breaks me out. I have to admit that it helped to improve my skin texture to some extent. A must buy for winters for me.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30:

I have been using this product for so long and let me tell you that It is really a good moisturizer for daytime usage which hydrates my skin pretty well and protects it from sun burns. It Brings out natural radiance for the dried and dull skin people like me and make them glowy.  Full review is here

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose water:

It is the purest form of rose water as it is steam distilled. This is my HG facial spray or toner I can say, I never miss a single day not using this. I almost use 2 to 3 times a day and trust me it can serve all the purposes like a toner, facial mist or a setting spray. I have already stocked up a large bottle of it. Full review is here

L’Oreal Paris Professional Force Vector Shampoo:

I have done the hair straightening for at least 5 times and now my hair expert already given me the ultimatum that he will be no longer doing any straightening on my hair as my hair is no longer ready to take any stressful treatments. I was using the liss unlimited shampoo from the time I had done my hair, but was suffering from hair loss and breakage so the expert suggested me to use the force vector shampoo. It is a light weight shampoo, very mild which does not lather much or create much foam but the result is just too good. It helped to keep my hair smooth and shine. It does work on hair breakage but it couldn’t helped me to prevent hair fall. But overall a bliss for treated damage hair.

So these are the products that I have managed to finish fully. Hope you guys have enjoyed my post. Don’t forget to share your thoughts below.

Bbye for today

Review on Inglot Matte Lipstick in shade ‘421’, Swatches,Price

Hi lovely ladies,

Hope you are doing well. Today I am very excited to share my experience about The "Inglot" Lipstick that I purchased recently. This is my first ever product from Inglot and I am absolutely in love with it. I have lot of pink lipsticks but I swear, this is my HG pink, yes it is!!!! A truly matte hot blue toned pink, which is a very unique pink shade that is not too bright but beautiful and is flattering on any fair to medium skin tone beauties.

Now let’s jump into the review.

What The product says:

The perfect opaque super matte lipstick for any occasion. Vitamin E, macadamia oil, and avocado oil moisturize and nourish the lips. Long lasting formula provides the ideal matte, smooth and even finish.

Price:

1150(INR) for (4.5 g/0.16 US OZ)

Pigmentation:

The Lipstick is highly pigmented; a single swipe is enough to achieve an opaque finish.  It has the ability to hide pigmented lips which is a great benefit.

Staying Power:

Due to the matte finish formula the staying power is pretty good, it stays up to 6 to 7 hours for me. After that it starts fading.

My take on the product:

It comes in a black shine metal casing which is very sturdy and sleek, looks classy and is light weighted that is easy to carry. The lipstick bullet is not cylindrical in shape but pointed which makes it totally handy.  The texture is not super smooth but glides easily on your lips, without any hassle and gives the perfect matte effect without drying your lips. But I would suggest those having extremely dry lips, to put a lip balm underneath to prevent your lips from flakiness. The color payoff is excellent, a highly pigmented lipstick which can give you super opaque finish in just one swipe. It settles down into your lips immediately after application without causing bleed and transfer. It has an excellent staying power of 6 to 7 hours which can survive meals with light fading, it tends to get little patchy while fading so you would need to reapply it then. The lipstick is beautiful blue toned pink shade which is the most unique pink shade I have ever come across, it is flattering on any fair to medium skin tone beauties. It has a light fragrance which is not at all bothersome. I would definitely repurchase it again and would love to try other shades from this range.

Pros:

·         Highly pigmented
·         Great Staying power
·         Truly matte finish without drying your lips
·         Light fragrance
·         Sturdy classy packaging
·         Paraben free
·         Not tested on animals

Cons:
·         Nothing as such

Verdict:

I am in love with this lipstick, wearing almost every day. I think I have found my HG pink shade which I was searching for so long. Love its highly pigmented formula, decent staying power and great matte finish look which doesn't dry the lips and can be a great wearable lip color in summertime. Yes I would definitely recommend this to all my pink lover beauties.

Thumps up to this lipstick!!!!!

Rating:
4.9/5(.1 is deducted for the price hike..:-(, sorry can’t help it)

That’s all for today ladies.

Review on Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Roop Nikhar & Gulab

Hi ladies,

How are you all doing my friends? Hope you have enjoyed The Valentine’s week to the fullest with loads of chocolates, gifts and flowers. Today I will be reviewing a skincare product from Forest Essentials that I have been using for last 2 months and needless to say it is now a weekly essential for my skincare regimen. I have dry skin and little bit of sensitivity around my nose area which tends to be the breakout area on my face. Any cosmetic product I apply be it any foundation, compact or blush, that area become very itchy with red inflammations. Using this product I have overcome this issue to some extent.

So here is the detail review of that product:

What the product claims:

A fresh rose petal based formulation for a porcelain smooth skin this is also a powerful exfoliating treatment that stimulates the underlying tissues of the skin. By its revitalizing, refreshing & refining actions, this 'Ubtan' helps keep the complexion soft and glowing with a radiant sheen.

Product benefits:

This Roop Nikhar Gulab Ubtan is a powerful exfoliating treatment that stimulates the underlying tissues of the skin. By its revitalizing, refreshing & refining actions, this 'Ubtan' helps in the natural glow of the complexion. It contains a combination of over 26 sun dried & hand pounded, Gulab Petals, herbs, roots and other flowers to make the skin clear and blemish free. Its regular usage prevents the occurrence of premature fine lines and removes tan

Price:

750(INR) for 50g

Availability:

Available in any stores of Forest essentials for you can get it from here

My take on the product:

The product comes in a very classic, sleek beautiful blue colored plastic tub like container which is further covered with blue cardboard paper box. I found it very light in weight and thus travel friendly. Texture wise it is little coarse and grainy which needed to be well mix with the fluid you are using. For dry skin you have to mix it with yogurt or milk and for oily skin it is preferred to be mix with rose water. Well I use milk and sometimes I add little bit of malai to make a thick paste. So take the wooden spatula which comes along with it for mixing. You have to be little careful while mixing as the powder is not finely dusted and it will take little time to become a fine paste. Put the paste all over your face let it dry for 20 to 25 minutes before washing it off. Please don’t rub or try to scrub your face with the dried paste, it may hurt you skin, so take a wet towel and gently clean your face. It smells of dried rose petals which is very refreshing and might be little strong for sensitive noses. I am happy to say it doesn’t leave my skin dry. I use this ubtan once or twice in a week and believe me that red inflammations have disappeared to some extent, It brings a natural glow immediately after washing and feels so fresh and glowy. Though the glow remains only for a day but not more than that, it resolved my sensitive skin issue to some extent and gave me a natural fresh look with immediate effect.

Pros:

·         All natural ingredients
·         Beautiful divine smell of dried rose petals
·         Adds immediate natural glow
·         Works well on my sensitive skin
·         No tingling or skin irritation
·         No dryness after using it
·         Doesn’t break me out

Cons:

·         Little coarse particles that may be rough on your skin
·         No improvements in skin texture

Verdict:

Overall I am satisfied with this product. I love how it smells, all the natural products in its ingredients list makes it suitable for sensitive skin too. It worked well on my skin irritation problem and added a natural glow to my skin.

Review on The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Honey & Beeswax Hand and Foot Butter

Hi friends,

Today I am going to review a skincare product from The Body Shop, Spa Wisdom Honey & Beeswax hand and foot butter. Every time I wanted to buy this product the price tag somehow restricted me from getting this. Last year there was a sale on their website and I finally got it at 50% off yaay!!!! :-D My body needs moisturisers throughout the year as I have an extremely dry skin, hands and feet included. For this reason I always like to splurge on body moisturizers as they are my all-time need.

Now let’s jump into the review.
What the product claims:
Pamper your hard-working hands and feet with rich hydration from an intensive moisturizing treatment with skin softening ximenia oil from Africa that will leave skin feeling soft, supple and subtly scented with our traditional Spa Wisdom™ Africa fragrance. Particularly effective on hardworking hands and feet or any very dry areas such as elbows and knees.

Price:
1695(INR) I got it at 50% off for 125ml

Availability:
You can get it on The Body Shop stores, their online store is not stocking up this product anymore (don’t know why)

My take on the product:
The product comes in a plastic jar with a metal buckled lock on the top. Though this packaging is air tight and keeps the product totally secured inside, I found it little difficult to open the lock as it is too tight, I had to give immense pressure in your hands and finger to open it up. But this locking system may give it a very rich traditional look for some which can be a plus point of this product. The texture looks little sticky and feels greasy which is similar to the other body butters but when you try to apply it on your hands and foot, it gets easily absorbed. Anyhow I like its little thick formula as it is buttery and smooth that glides smoothly on your skin. I love TBS products as they never let me down in terms of fragrance and this product is no different. A sweet chocolate caramelee smell just feel heavenly. After washing my hands and feet, it becomes itchy and wrinkly in the dry cold weathers, so I apply a generous amount of this product before going to sleep. I wake up with soft hands and feet which looks very fresh and happy.:-)

Pros:
·         Cute plastic jar packaging with air tight lockage
·         Creamy thick formula which glides like butter into your skin
·         Absorbs very easily without any hassle
·         Sweet fragrance
·         Great for very dry hands and feet

Cons:
·         Costly
·         Less availability

Verdict:
Overall I like its cute packaging , smooth buttery texture with sweet mild fragrance. Very effective on chapped hands and feet. Will definitely repurchase it if I find it in offer.

Rating:
4.5/5 (.5 is deducted for difficulty in opening the jar)
