Review on Eyova Hair Nutrient with Egg Oil

Hi Friends,

Hope you all are doing well. Today I am going to review a hair oil which I have been using for past few weeks. We all know about the health benefits of eggs which is a natural power house of nutrients. So when I heard about oil which contains components of egg yolk, I was really very curious to try out this when it was sent by the brand.

So let’s start with the review now

What the product claims:

Eyova is a hair nutrient with Egg oil as its active component. This oil is derived from the yolk of chicken eggs and containsbioactives that heal and strengthen your hair naturally. Meant to sustain new life, eggs contain nutrients like Long Chain Polyunsaturated essential Fatty Acids (LC-PUFA), Cholesterol, Antioxidants Xanthophylls including Lutein & Zeaxanthin and Immunoglobullins; these work in collaboration to enhance the health of your hair. It claims to prevent premature hair loss, hair greying. It repairs hair damage, reduces dandruff and improves scalp condition. It improves hair shine and luster.

Ingredients:

OLEOVA(egg oil), Canola Oil, Fragrance

Price:

590(INR) for 50ml

You can get it from here Click Here

My take on the Product:

The product comes in a plastic transparent bottle with black flip cap on the top and further covered with cardboard box outside which contains all the information about the product. Packaging is quite handy due to the flip cap which is very tight making it convenient. Oil is dark mustard color and has tiny little white particles inside it and you should have to shake the bottle well before you use. It has a strong eggy smell which lingers on my hair for atleast 1 or 2 days which I don’t really like even after washing my hair with shampoo. This hair oil is not very runny, you have to massage hair scalp gently with the hair oil and leave it overnight for best results and you wash your hair on the next day morning. I do not prefer to leave my hair oil overnight because on the next day I always had to work hard to wash my hair with shampoo as it takes a lot of shampoo to wash off the oil completely from my hair. But this time I was willing to take out the best result from this oil so I did as per their suggestion.  Needless to say it made my hair noticeably soft and smooth and as you know about my treated damaged hair which is very rough in the length portion, I can feel the roughness has totally gone from my hair length. It definitely controls my hair fizziness making it more manageable.  Now coming to the most important part, I was really suffering from hair loss along with rough and damage hair, on the very first application I haven’t noticed anything good about this and it continues to fall during washing time with shampoo but after 3 to 4 application of this hair oil I could see less hair fall during washing course and even after detangling and combing my hair I could see very less hair fall. So I can say it has reduced my hair fall problem to some extend and noticeably it made my hair shiny and soft looking and yes controlled the fizziness making it manageable. I couldn’t say anything about grey hair problem as I don’t have that.

Pros:

·         Handy convenient packaging
·         Not very thick in nature
·         Effective on hair fall
·         Makes hair very soft and smooth
·         Controls fizziness making it manageable
·         Adds instant shine post usage
·         Good ingredients

Cons:

·         Pricy
·         Very strong smell which can bother sensitive noses

Verdict:

Overall this is really good hair oil which can reduces hair fall to some extent and can noticeably make your hair soft and smooth, controls fizziness and makes your hair manageable. So I would definitely recommend this to all my friends if you want to keep your hair issue away giving a healthy and shiny hair inside and out.

After testing it for somedays I am here to share my thoughts about the product.

How to use:

Take a small amount of Ethiglo with a little water on to your palm.Work up the lather and gently massage your wet face and neck in a circular motion. Rinse off with clear water and pat your face dry.

My take on the Product:

It comes in a milky white squeezable tube with flip cap on the top which is further covered with a white cardboard paper box. The box contains all the information about the product. It has a creamy thick consistency with pearl white color. It has a very light decent fragrance. Just a small quantity needed and it lathers really well.  You have to take required quantity in you palm, mix with water, work up lather and gently massage the foam on your wet face and neck. It pulls out skin impurities and dirt making it clear and clean. Honestly I have few issues on the very first application, I noticed two three mild pimples near my sensitive nose and chin area but I didn’t stop using it and with continuous usage those mild pimples started to disappear on its own and I could only feel my glowy cleaned face after each application. It is suggested not to use the face wash directly on your skin rather diluting it with water and apply on a wet face.  I feel this face wash will make dry skin more dry so moisturizer is always needed after washing your face but yes for oily or combination skin it can work best. Here is a small thing I wanted to share with you guys, since it has a creamy thick consistency with strong whitening actives, please follow the steps on how to use it as suggested by the brand otherwise you may end up with some issue that I have faced near my sensitive nose and chin area on the first day as I applied it directly on my skin. I did a little research on the internet and came to know that glycolic acid has the ability to reach deep down in the layers of skin thus use as exfoliators to break away dead skin cells from healthy cells. Kojic acid again helps in skin lightening. So it is obvious that regular usage can make skin brighter looking and glowy. It has little granules that can be clearly visible which I think works to remove dirt, excess oil from your skin making it clean and bright.

Pros:

·         Makes skin clean and clear
·         Removes dirt and excess oil
·         Gives instant glow, regular usage can makes skin brighter looking
·         Nice fragrance
·         Lathers well
·         Convenient packaging

Cons:

·         Contains SLS
·         Not suitable for very dry skin(need to apply moisturizer)

Verdict:

Overall it’s a decent deep cleansing face wash which is effective on removing dirt and impurities, pulls out the excess oil from your skin making it clean and instantly brighter looking . I would recommend this face wash to oily and combination skin and can skipped by very dry skin people.
